We are looking for a passionate and skilled classic car technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have classic car experience, a solid understanding of mechanics and automotive technology, and a dedication to preserving the authenticity and integrity of classic vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in various classic cars, ranging from pre-war models to 1980s vehicles, including brands like Ferrari, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Alfa Romeo, and more.

Additional responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance, collaborating with the restoration team to provide technical expertise on ongoing projects, and staying updated on industry trends and developments in classic car technology.

Profile

Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician is required. This role is exclusively for work on vehicles built before 1980, with no computer technology involved. Required experience is purely mechanical, including tasks such as clutch replacements, brake servicing (including bleeding), and suspension repairs. Experience with carburetors is a significant advantage.

Job-Related Skills

  • Replace or repair engines, transmissions, clutches, suspensions, starters, etc.
  • Sort and transport recovered components and fluids to treatment or storage areas (batteries, hydrocarbons, lubricants, etc.).
  • Determine the type of intervention based on technical documentation and guidance from experts and clients.
  • Clean and organize the workspace, and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Prepare a vehicle for delivery or use (interior and exterior cleaning, topping off fluid levels, etc.).
  • Test and adjust the vehicle.
  • Diagnose issues and develop technical solutions for repairing vehicles and equipment.
  • Record intervention data and share information with the relevant department.
  • Drive a private vehicle to its delivery or pickup location (transport between sites, retrieval, etc.).
  • Conduct a road test with a private or industrial vehicle.
  • Perform maintenance or quick-service interventions on a vehicle.
